Key Course Objectives

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare the learner to develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide basic life support for adults and children. It is also for those who are qualified in providing first aid and are looking to refresh/develop their existing first aid knowledge and skills further.

This qualification is for people who have a specific interest or a responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to be able to provide basic life support for adults and children.
